Hi friends! I'm Carrie Althoff Smith, founder and owner of Carried Away Rentals.

While sourcing secondhand items for our investment property, I uncovered a passion to curate and give new life to forgotten furniture and décor. Too many of the items I discovered could not simply be sequestered to a cottage, but deserved to be displayed and loved by many for years to come. While the options for event rentals can be overwhelming in the Triangle area, I hope to stand out by adding a personal touch to my offerings as well as be your partner in executing the vision for your event, photoshoot, or gathering.
